Base Salary
$100k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, integrate, verify, and validate system-level simulations for aerospace projects.
- Develop simulation concepts of operations, use cases, requirements, and architectures covering interfaces, facilities, infrastructure, and models.
- Write and automate simulation test plans.
- Develop real-time hardware interfaces, integrate legacy software models, and create new software models.
- Integrate 3D visualization tools and maintain an in-house real-time software framework.
- Lead small to medium-sized engineering teams when assigned.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in systems modeling and simulation.
- Triage, debug, and resolve software and hardware integration issues.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- 10–15 years of systems engineering or related experience.
- Professional software development experience in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Significant experience with C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience with analytical methods, problem-solving, data visualization, mathematical analysis, software APIs, and software and hardware integration.
- Ability to develop systems incorporating human factors, UI/UX, and usability requirements.
- Knowledge of aerospace systems and related sciences.
- Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
