Base Salary
$168k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical strategy and architectural direction for a business-critical AI-powered advertising initiative.
- Design, develop, launch, and maintain scalable end-to-end services and platforms.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into system architectures and foundational technical decisions.
- Partner with Principal Engineers, Scientists, engineering teams, and product teams to define and deliver the roadmap.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including agentic AI models, to develop new advertising capabilities.
- Mentor engineers, establish engineering best practices, and raise the technical bar as the team grows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

- Position locations and base salary ranges are Palo Alto, California ($193,300.00-$261,500.00 annually), New York, New York ($184,900.00-$250,200.00 annually), and Seattle, Washington ($168,100.00-$227,400.00 annually).
