Base Salary
$180k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve the core real-time collaborative editing experience using CRDTs and WebSockets.
- Ship full-stack features integrating AI capabilities into polished user experiences.
- Optimize frontend performance so the editor remains fast and responsive at scale.
- Collaborate with designers to implement high-quality UI interactions and visual details.
- Contribute to and suggest improvements for open-source projects core to the web application.
- Design APIs with backend engineers to support collaboration and content creation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building production web applications.
- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, React, and modern web development.
- Experience with real-time collaborative systems, WebSockets, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with CRDTs or operational transformation for collaborative editing.
- Passion for excellent web experiences and strong attention to UI implementation details.
- Experience building rich text editors or content editors is preferred.
