Responsibilities
- Develop solutions and serve as a COBOL analyst for online and batch merchant-solutions applications.
- Design, develop, analyze, test, and support computer systems and application software based on business requirements.
- Support mainframe and distributed systems, including batch processing and file-based integrations.
- Develop automation solutions to improve processes and transform manual repetitive work.
- Manage code, programs, tests, release management, UAT, production support, and controlled production releases.
- Assign resources and delegate tasks to meet project deliverables, client requirements, and business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of software development experience in enterprise environments.
- At least 4 years supporting large-scale business-critical systems, release management/UAT/production support cycles, SDLC and agile delivery practices, mainframe and distributed systems, SQL and relational databases, and version control tools including GitLab and Endeavor.
- At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and controlled production releases.
- At least 2 years of experience with Java object-oriented programming and Unix/Linux environments.
