Base Salary

$75k - $139k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, and maintain space command-and-control systems software as a Java full-stack engineer.
  • Create software test procedures, prepare documentation, conduct peer reviews, and identify, track, and resolve software defects.
  • Develop and assess software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system design.
  • Collaborate with small teams of software engineers and cross-functional engineering groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of prior related experience, or a graduate degree or equivalent with zero to two years of related experience.
  • At least two years of software development experience focused on Java full-stack development.
  • Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 60 days.
  • Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, software engineering principles, and industry best practices.
  • Preferred experience with Apache NiFi, RabbitMQ, relational databases, asynchronous programming, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Tanzu, Docker, and containerized environments.
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, collaboration, and team-environment skills.
