Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management practices.
- Deploy and operate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, service availability, and troubleshooting effectiveness.
- Investigate complex infrastructure and deployment issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting improvements.
- Integrate access control, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and other security practices into infrastructure and delivery workflows.
- Optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, resilience, and cost.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, assess technical options, and propose suitable solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and recovery processes.
- Mentor colleagues through knowledge sharing and technical reviews.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation, including ownership of production environments.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, with understanding of networking, DNS, TLS, and load balancing.
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency with Terraform and familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and collaborative development practices.
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, or cloud-native equivalents.
- Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs, work independently, and own solutions through implementation and operation.
- Clear communication skills, confidence working with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and good written and spoken English.
- Nice-to-have experience includes Argo CD or Flux, Helm, cloud migrations, disaster recovery, highly available architectures, DevSecOps, automated security checks, and relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications.
