Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain distributed applications consisting of React web apps and Java Spring Boot services.
- Develop and maintain TypeScript/React component libraries for frontend development.
- Contribute across the full service lifecycle, from design and build through run and operations.
- Perform development, application support, and operational tasks for service applications.
- Analyze, resolve, and prevent production and stability issues.
- Build and enhance service and operational structures and support release and operations processes.
- Ensure code quality, security, documentation, and adherence to best practices while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of professional software development experience with TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience developing and maintaining Java services using technologies such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Good knowledge of redundant, highly available applications, microservice and API-centered system design, and application containerization with tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience operating applications, including DevOps, application support, or SRE responsibilities.
- Knowledge of modern development processes, versioning, and automated testing.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
- Very good English skills at least C1 and good German skills at least B2–C1.
- Experience with cloud-native environments, energy-industry processes such as FCR/aFRR/mFRR, regulated IT systems, or Scrum/Kanban is advantageous.
