Base Salary
$121k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs and microservices supporting BaaS onboarding and partner integrations.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, testing, observability, and CI/CD practices.
- Develop monitoring and alerting systems, meet SLA standards, and contribute to incident response and root cause analysis.
- Create architectural and design documentation, evaluate emerging technologies, and improve the existing codebase with fixes and new functionality.
- Build durable, flexible systems by favoring configurability over customization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a technical leadership role.
- Strong work portfolio demonstrating secure, standards-compliant development across multiple platforms.
- Fluency in several listed languages, platforms, or libraries, including C#, .NET, and SQL, plus hands-on cloud platform experience.
- Experience with Azure native services such as APIM, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault, along with container technologies and caching frameworks.
- Understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth2, and OpenAPI specifications.
- Familiarity with event-driven and microservice architectures, including Service Bus and Event Hubs.
- Hands-on experience implementing observability dashboards and platforms such as Datadog and Grafana.
- Knowledge of Git, security best practices in financial services, PCI DSS, SOC 2, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to work effectively on fast-paced, iterative, mission-critical, revenue-critical, customer-facing applications.
- Preferred: fintech or embedded finance experience, partner onboarding and SLA management familiarity, and open-source or technical publication contributions.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship and meet the specified location requirement.
