Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and optimize scalable custom software components and applications.
- Design secure, highly available, cost-effective cloud-native applications and enterprise architectures on AWS.
- Configure AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, network ACLs, VPC peering, and cross-account connectivity.
- Implement data migration strategies from on-premises environments to AWS.
- Develop server-side applications using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using Terraform and apply DevOps practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert, collaborate across teams, and contribute to key technical decisions.
- Lead best-practice improvements, mentor junior team members, and communicate technical solutions to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience is required.
- At least 8 years of total IT experience in software development, including at least 5 years as a Solution Architect or in a similar technical role.
- At least 5 years of experience with the AWS cloud platform and AWS architecture.
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, high-performance enterprise systems using architectural patterns such as microservices, serverless, and event-driven architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Airflow, EMR, S3, EC2, IAM roles, CloudWatch, SNS, Glue, and RDS.
- Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL databases, data modeling, and data architecture.
- Expertise with Spring Boot version 2.5 or later and Spring Framework version 5 or later.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure design and deployment, scalable system design, performance optimization, and data migration.
- Familiarity with Terraform, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and contemporary software development frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
- 15 years of full-time education.
