Base Salary
$166k - $331k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive long-term architectural strategy for Partner Center and the broader Microsoft partner ecosystem.
- Lead architecture decisions for Cloud Subscription migration, platform modernization, and large-scale engineering investments.
- Represent Partner Center in Commerce Core platform strategy and architecture forums and influence platform roadmaps.
- Champion AI-native engineering practices, AI-powered development, operational excellence, and responsible AI patterns.
- Develop ecosystem-wide data architecture and integration strategies across partner platforms and intelligence solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical design discussions covering scalability, performance, resiliency, security, compliance, and platform evolution.
- Reduce duplication and simplify system interactions through shared services, common data models, and strategic platform investments.
- Align architects, engineering leaders, product leaders, and platform teams on long-term technical strategy and execution.
- Mentor engineers and architects through design reviews and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience leading architecture strategy and platform modernization across multiple engineering organizations and large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with Native AI Engineering and large-scale online services.
- Hands-on technical experience and experience mentoring software engineers.
