Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance custom software solutions and application components using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Write efficient and maintainable PL/SQL code and optimize database queries and procedures for performance.
- Design and integrate database components with other software systems.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex database-related issues.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, collaborate with multiple teams, and contribute to key technical decisions.
- Lead process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PL/SQL).
- Strong experience writing efficient and maintainable Oracle PL/SQL code.
- Ability to optimize database queries and procedures for performance.
- Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling techniques.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex database-related issues.
- Knowledge of integrating PL/SQL with other software components and systems.
- 15 years of full-time education required.
