Responsibilities
- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and technical deliverables.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy technology solutions.
- Develop, configure, maintain, and improve ServiceNow platform functionality, workflows, integrations, and custom applications.
- Implement ServiceNow solutions across APM, ITOM, ITAM, and ITSM modules using primarily out-of-the-box functionality.
- Develop catalog functionality, business rules, UI policies, data policies, and automation scripts.
- Perform unit and integration testing and coordinate quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
- Analyze business and user requirements and transform them into actionable technical specifications.
- Consult with cross-functional teams on existing and forthcoming solutions.
- Lead projects, resolve technical challenges, act as an escalation point, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 3 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and developing ServiceNow platform technologies, workflows, and integrations.
- At least 3 years of development experience using scripting languages such as JavaScript, Glide, and Jelly.
- Experience with ServiceNow APM, ITOM, ITAM, and ITSM modules and ServiceNow catalog development.
- Knowledge of CMDB, custom application development, business rules, UI policies, and data policies.
- Experience with ServiceNow ATF; automation testing experience is a plus.
- Experience with design, build, test, and deployment activities and with distributed agile teams.
- ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications are required.
- Strong written and verbal communication and coordination skills.
