Base Salary
$160k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build connectors and ingestion pipelines for enterprise warehouses, document libraries, live pricing feeds, news data, and proprietary customer systems
- Design and operate pipelines that handle scale, failures, evolving schemas, and edge cases
- Debug issues across APIs, authentication systems, and data formats under customer pressure
- Own monitoring, alerting, on-call operations, reliability, and incident response
- Improve internal tooling and observability
- Partner with product and customer teams to scope, prioritize, and ship integrations
- Design and ship agents on top of the ingestion layer for document analysis and structured query workflows
Requirements
- 2–5 years of software engineering experience, ideally at a startup or high-growth technology company
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience building backend services and APIs
- Experience building or maintaining third-party API integrations, including OAuth flows, webhooks, rate limiting, and pagination
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and tools such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Elasticsearch
- Comfort with on-call responsibilities and production reliability ownership
- Strong debugging ability across logs, API responses, and queue state
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Autonomous, self-directed working style
- Experience with Snowflake, SharePoint, or Salesforce integrations is a bonus
- Familiarity with document processing or content extraction systems is a bonus
- Experience building agentic systems or LLM-enabled products is a bonus
- Frequent use of AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code is a bonus
