Responsibilities
- Develop user-facing features for Bilt’s React Native mobile application.
- Write well-designed, efficient, testable code and identify opportunities to refactor and improve robustness.
- Write unit and integration tests and coordinate with QA on feature testing.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define API requirements.
- Optimize delivery of code and assets to browsers or mobile devices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of React experience.
- 3+ years of React Native experience.
- Proven hands-on software development experience.
- Experience with React Native, TypeScript or JavaScript, and Redux or other global state-management frameworks.
- Strong UX design, problem-solving, troubleshooting, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to write testable code and explain the benefits and challenges of frontend libraries, frameworks, and toolsets.
- Knowledge of the startup world is preferred.
