Base Salary
$120k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship customer-facing production AI features across Boom's product.
- Drive internal AI productivity through tooling, workflows, and automations.
- Own the full agent stack including prompts, tools, and orchestration.
- Build evaluation and feedback loops to improve agents safely.
- Partner with product and leadership to select and implement AI initiatives.
- Help shape hiring practices and operational strategies within the engineering team.
Requirements
- 5+ years in web development with 1-2 years in production LLM features.
- Experience with Anthropic/OpenAI APIs and agent patterns.
- Backend-leaning full stack experience in Ruby and Python, with React/Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend.
- Familiarity with third-party APIs and observability practices.
- Experience running AI coding agents autonomously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathy for end users, particularly low-to-moderate-income renters.
