Base Salary
$166k - $331k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable, resilient, secure AI infrastructure and Kubernetes, open-source, and cloud-native solutions.
- Implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code for Kubernetes and related components on Azure and open-source platforms.
- Enable AI capabilities, including AI/ML inferencing, retraining, and cloud-native workload management.
- Participate in on-call rotations, monitor products, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely customer support.
- Improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
- Mentor and guide engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience with languages including Go, Rust, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master's degree and 12+ years of experience, or bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience with at least two of Linux or Unix-like server environments, containers, Kubernetes or other cloud-native technologies, and Azure or another cloud management technology.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Go, cloud-native technologies, workload and container orchestration, and Linux environments.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools and processes such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $165,600-$296,400 per year, with a separate higher range for specified San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area locations.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
