Responsibilities
- Design and maintain complex, high-throughput data ingestion and processing pipelines.
- Own existing systems and services, redesigning them to reduce complexity and leverage new technologies.
- Lead architectural initiatives and influence engineering standards across the team.
- Partner with engineering teams and Product Management to define roadmaps and oversee releases across multiple product areas.
- Build and support customer-facing software with end-to-end ownership of architecture, implementation, observability, reliability, and operations.
- Help grow engineering talent and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience working with data-rich applications and pipelines.
- Experience learning and working in highly complex domains; trading, risk, or power systems experience is a plus.
- Proven success delivering highly reliable and scalable software systems.
- Experience building backend applications using C#; Windows systems programming is a plus.
- Experience using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience building or working with event-driven applications.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes on GCP or AWS.
