Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise reporting and analytics solutions for a greenfield project.
- Architect and implement software systems using Java, Angular, and modern technologies while maintaining code quality and performance.
- Drive build-versus-buy evaluations and deliver multiple proof-of-concept implementations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and evaluate tools.
- Lead adoption of GenAI, Copilot, and AI-assisted development practices for automation, reporting, code completion, review, and test generation.
- Mentor and lead engineers while fostering technical excellence, learning, and innovation.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, communicate project status, and address risks and challenges.
- Promote automated testing and reliable software delivery practices.
Requirements
- 10–18 years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack development experience.
- Strong Java expertise, including Spring Boot and application development, with Java as the primary skill.
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and modern software development practices.
- Experience building and scaling enterprise applications, preferably in cloud environments.
- Proficiency with additional languages, frameworks, databases, and SQL, including the ability to learn new technology stacks.
- Experience using GenAI, Copilot, or AI-based tools for software development, automation, reporting, testing, or code review.
- Experience leading and motivating high-performing teams and managing stakeholders in a global environment.
- Prior experience in finance, investment banking, or a related domain is mandatory.
- Experience with automated testing and testing frameworks.
- Experience with Angular or React is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Apache Airflow, OLAP tools, workflow automation, tool evaluation, proof-of-concept delivery, and greenfield project leadership is beneficial.
