Responsibilities
- Assess and coach clients’ IT teams and define IT strategies and architecture solutions.
- Own delivery for a specific project module and develop its technical concepts.
- Lead cloud architecture design, including requirements gathering, high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and component sizing.
- Design cloud strategies addressing regulatory compliance, cloud lock-in avoidance, multi-cloud environments, and governance.
- Deploy and operate AI workloads in the cloud, including model serving, inference, vector databases, and GPU/compute sizing.
- Evaluate AWS, Azure, and GCP AI stacks and model providers based on technical merits, cost, latency, and architecture trade-offs.
- Coach project members and help lead consultants in their workstreams.
- Implement or advise on cloud security, continuous monitoring, threat detection, cost management, and resource optimization.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders across client projects and industries.
Requirements
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud strategy, technical project management, or technology consulting, with a track record leading IT implementation projects.
- Spanish is mandatory and English fluency is required.
- Proficiency designing cloud architectures, including requirements gathering, conceptual and technical architecture, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation, scalability, cloud component sizing, and major cloud service provider XaaS portfolios.
- Working knowledge of LLM and GenAI concepts including embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, prompting, agents, and context windows.
- Experience deploying and operating cloud AI workloads, including managed and self-hosted model serving, inference, vector databases, GPU sizing, and cost/latency analysis.
- Ability to compare AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source model options independently of a single provider.
- Hands-on use of an AI coding agent such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Familiarity with DORA, GDPR, NIS2, cloud security and privacy compliance, and data sovereignty strategies.
- Experience developing cloud governance policies and implementing cloud security, monitoring, and threat-detection strategies.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Industry experience in banking, insurance, energy, or telecommunications is desirable.
