Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build large-scale, high-impact access management systems used across Amazon.
- Develop intelligence that identifies unused and excessive permissions and recommends least-privilege access decisions.
- Contribute across the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership, teammates, stakeholders, and customers to shape the access management experience.
- Participate in on-call support and resolve incidents by addressing their root causes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures, and advanced systems concepts and design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering peers.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience applying AI or machine learning to real-world problems is preferred but not required.
