Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, maintain, and improve software applications and codebases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Build event-driven applications using Kafka and Kafka Streams.
- Develop microservices and enterprise applications using the Spring Framework and Java.
- Work with distributed databases to build scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems.
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Helm and Kubernetes.
- Develop and support cloud-native applications and services in AWS.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in peer reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide technical guidance.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, testing, and productivity.
Requirements
- Experience designing and building event-driven applications with Kafka and Kafka Streams.
- Experience developing Java software, microservices, and enterprise applications with the Spring Framework.
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS technologies, SQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with distributed databases and scalable software systems.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Financial services industry experience is preferred.
