Responsibilities
- Architect and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned with business objectives, IT strategy, platform standards, and technical guardrails.
- Develop and configure ITSM, ITOM, scoped applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, integrations, and custom applications.
- Support platform administration, including ATO activities, patching, upgrades, environment clones, MID Server management, performance tuning, and production issue resolution.
- Evaluate existing applications to identify optimization, automation, technical-debt reduction, and user-experience improvements.
- Recommend and document solutions based on ServiceNow capabilities, client usage patterns, product entitlements, and federal priorities.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, client stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and other delivery ceremonies.
- Conduct code reviews, guide development standards, and provide technical oversight for maintainable ServiceNow implementations.
- Create architecture diagrams, configuration specifications, workflow designs, data models, integration approaches, implementation guidance, and knowledge-sharing materials.
- Ensure configurations and customizations meet federal security, compliance, accessibility, and operational requirements.
- Contribute ServiceNow expertise to proposals, solutioning, technical demonstrations, communities of practice, and reusable delivery assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development, implementation, or architecture experience, including ITSM, ITOM, and scoped applications.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to federal contract requirements.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
- Must reside in the United States, be authorized to work in the United States, and perform the work in the United States.
- Preferred experience with ServiceNow ITAM, App Engine, custom application development, Service Portal, Employee Center, third-party integrations, enterprise platforms, technical documentation, testing support, and production troubleshooting.
- Preferred ServiceNow certifications include Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, or Certified Technical Architect.
- Preferred experience with Now Assist, Generative AI, Agentic AI, virtual agents, intelligent automation, predictive insights, or other AI-enabled ServiceNow capabilities.
- Preferred experience supporting U.S. federal government programs or federal clients.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, stakeholder-consensus, presentation, and prioritization skills.
