Responsibilities
- Drive the technical roadmap, architecture, low-level design, and full-lifecycle development of sophisticated C++ solutions.
- Establish coding standards, conduct rigorous code reviews, and promote engineering best practices and automation.
- Diagnose bottlenecks, debug low-level threading issues, and optimize memory usage and runtime performance.
- Mentor junior and mid-level C++ developers and support their technical development.
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Help scope sprints, mitigate technical risks, and support predictable, high-quality software releases.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical lead or mentoring capacity.
- Exceptional proficiency in Modern C++ and deep knowledge of standard library containers and algorithms.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, memory management, multithreading, and inter-process communication.
- Extensive experience developing and debugging on Linux/Unix or Windows using tools such as CMake, GCC/Clang, or Visual Studio.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development workflows.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly technical related field.
- Preferred qualifications include low-level network programming, sockets, hardware or embedded protocols, Conan or vcpkg, and integrating C++ modules with Python or Node.js.
- Experience with consulting or relevant industry domains such as telecom, fintech, automotive infotainment, or medical devices is a plus.
