Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise identity security software and deliver customer-requested enhancements and defect fixes.
- Write quality Java and JavaScript code, develop UI components, and integrate REST-based web services using XML and JSON.
- Debug complex problems, reproduce and resolve customer issues, and support L3 escalations in collaboration with Support and customers.
- Develop and maintain unit tests and contribute to product monitoring, management, and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineers, testers, architects, Product Management, Engineering Management, and other technical and functional stakeholders.
- Estimate and independently develop small to medium-complexity features while taking ownership of assigned system modules.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience developing enterprise software, preferably in a Java/J2EE environment, with demonstrated Java fluency.
- Experience developing and designing Java- and JavaScript-based UI components.
- Experience with JSF, ExtJS, AngularJS, Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX, and other J2EE technologies.
- Experience developing and integrating REST-based web services using XML and/or JSON.
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, AIX, Solaris, or similar operating systems.
- Experience with SQL and one or more database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or DB2.
- Experience with web application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, or Tomcat.
- Experience with revision control systems such as Git, Subversion, Perforce, or CVS.
- Ability to work with software development engineers to reproduce and resolve problems and communicate effectively with technical and functional personnel.
- Experience with Hibernate or MyBatis, TestNG or JUnit, product monitoring/management/deployment, LDAP, and Active Directory is highly desirable.
