Base Salary

$69k - $162k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, C#/.NET, and Node.js/TypeScript.
  • Create and execute automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and end-to-end workflows across connected device platforms.
  • Validate device connectivity, firmware releases, BLE-enabled devices, and hardware-software interactions.
  • Test device provisioning, access management, connectivity, and security workflows.
  • Integrate automated testing into pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Analyze defects, troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive quality improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong programming experience in C#/.NET and Node.js/TypeScript focused on test automation development.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, and developing automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Experience with web, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, database validation, and test data management.
  • Experience testing IoT, smart devices, connected hardware products, or embedded systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Bluetooth Low Energy and hardware-software integration testing.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with smart locks, access control, physical security products, firmware validation, OTA update testing, or IoT protocols such as MQTT, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, and NFC is preferred.
  • Exposure to Azure or AWS and experience with performance, scalability, security testing, embedded systems, firmware diagnostics, or hardware troubleshooting tools is preferred.
