Base Salary

$125k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and analyze code and configurations for vehicle flight software systems
  • Create tools for reliable software deployment, automated data review, and automated configuration verification
  • Investigate test results and software bugs in depth
  • Troubleshoot flight hardware and software systems with interdisciplinary engineering teams
  • Plan and execute vehicle testing milestones
  • Support mission operations as a flight software specialist
  • Deploy software changes across the vehicle fleet
  • Travel occasionally to launch and customer sites for testing or operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a science discipline, or 2+ years of software development experience in lieu of a degree
  • At least 1 year of software development experience in C/C++
  • Basic knowledge of electronics, controls, motor design, and physical mechanics
  • Fluency in Linux, including Bash shell scripting and network troubleshooting
  • Experience with real-time embedded systems
  • Experience documenting software, creating system diagrams, and enumerating software requirements
  • Experience with software testing and knowledge of state machines
  • Must satisfy applicable ITAR employment or authorization requirements
  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
