Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software for mission management services.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and team planning discussions.
- Test, debug, and document implemented software functionality.
- Identify and communicate problems with requirements early.
- Interface with mission planning and platform engineers for software product execution.
- Assist with operational tasks to ensure production stability.
- Support on-call rotations and troubleshooting of live system operations.
- Support Launch and Early Operations of new satellites.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, or a related field.
- A minimum of eight years of relevant software development experience.
- Fluency in Python and a strong understanding of Go.
- Expert knowledge of software design, maintenance, and implementation.
- Demonstrated initiative to identify and solve problems.
- Strong team cooperation and organization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
- U.S. citizenship may be required for certain programs.
