Responsibilities
- Lead development, mentoring, and training activities for engineering staff.
- Define, design, roadmap, develop, test, deploy, and maintain product features from beginning to end.
- Design and implement software solutions that improve performance, durability, cost, and security.
- Build application architectures, RESTful APIs, microservices, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven systems.
- Advise senior management and data management partners on software and data management practices.
- Debug software and work in an agile, startup-like development environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience specializing in C# and .NET Core, excluding internships.
- At least 1 year of experience contributing to application design, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of hands-on AWS or comparable cloud platform experience.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, asynchronous messaging patterns, event-driven architecture, and layered or service-oriented software architecture.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, static analysis, configuration management, and CI/CD environments.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and strong skills in call stack analysis, profiling, breakpoint evaluation, and logging.
- Advanced written and spoken English, strong communication skills, sound judgment, self-direction, and a focus on high-quality customer experiences.
