Responsibilities
- Independently deliver Java-based backend features and database integrations.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Develop and optimize relational database schemas, queries, procedures, triggers, and transactions.
- Contribute to system design, scalability, performance, reliability, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Write secure, efficient code and participate in code reviews and mentoring of junior developers.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Apply automated testing, CI/CD practices, and version control.
- Build web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ReactJS when needed.
- Support systems implementation activities including requirements analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, and support.
Requirements
- BE, ME, BTech, MTech, MCS, or MCA in Computer Science or Supply Chain.
- 6 to 8 years of experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Java and strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle, and object-relational frameworks.
- Ability to write SQL queries, procedures, and triggers and perform performance tuning.
- Functional knowledge of supply chain management and preferably supply chain planning or forecasting.
- Prior development or consulting experience with an enterprise software vendor is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and protocols including SOAP, REST, and EDI is a plus.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and newer web client technologies such as ReactJS is preferred.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, and containerization is a plus.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technologies, especially AI/ML concepts and intelligent automation.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, collaboration, and communication abilities.
- Ready to work from the Pune office and available as an immediate joiner.
