Responsibilities
- Design customized technical solutions that meet customer requirements and support revenue and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with account teams to identify opportunities, explain commercial and technical value, build MVPs, and deliver software demonstrations.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales software support, functional and technical guidance, and customer expectation management.
- Lead initiatives and projects, coach team members, and coordinate best practices across business units and geographies.
- Support sales opportunities, customer meetings, vendor events, trade shows, and user group meetings.
- Maintain knowledge of technical and industry trends and follow applicable security policies and processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or another analytical discipline.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, Python, R, SPSS, or MATLAB.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, Python, Java, or C++.
- At least seven years of experience using analytical techniques such as statistics, predictive modeling, econometrics, or optimization to solve business problems.
- Experience as a technology project consultant or in a sales support role.
- In-depth knowledge of banking and/or insurance companies.
- Experience giving public presentations or teaching courses and workshops, along with strong communication, self-study, and research skills.
- Equivalent combinations of related education, training, and experience may be considered.
