Responsibilities
- Define product and system specifications and architecture with cross-functional teams.
- Define and maintain functional, operational, interface, performance, safety, cybersecurity, and reliability software requirements and their traceability.
- Design and implement GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
- Architect and manage Docker and Kubernetes containerized environments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Ensure effective security, identity management, and compliance controls for cloud infrastructure.
- Drive DevOps, automation, cloud infrastructure, and continuous-improvement practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or software engineering.
- At least 12 years of experience in software development and architecture, focused on DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Proficiency in multiple programming and scripting languages, such as Python, C, Java, Go, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins, and version control systems such as Git.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- In-depth understanding of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud services.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or comparable automation and configuration-management tools.
- Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, and NTP communication protocols.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- DevOps or relevant architecture certification, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack is preferred.
- Railway-domain knowledge, especially signalling, power supply, or system engineering, is a bonus.
