Base Salary
$210k - $322k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a regional team of Solutions Engineers and drive accountability for pipeline, revenue, customer outcomes, and key metrics.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success across technical discovery, technical wins, adoption, value realization, and expansion.
- Hire, onboard, motivate, retain, coach, mentor, and manage the performance of team members.
- Remove execution roadblocks, plan resources, delegate work, facilitate team meetings, and manage strategic account and territory assignments.
- Maintain ongoing technical enablement and ensure team members remain technically relevant with the Tanium portfolio.
- Lead or participate in strategic technical pre-sales opportunities, technical sales conversations, customer demonstrations, and marketing events.
- Champion customer and partner feedback to influence product direction and feature priorities.
- Drive regional innovation and lead or facilitate special initiatives based on innovative ideas.
Requirements
- An associate degree or equivalent experience is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field is a plus.
- At least 8 years of industry experience with solid technical skills in areas such as networking, security, operations, scripting, or programming.
- Proven effective leadership and management of a technical team, including mentorship, coaching, performance management, hiring, and retention.
- Experience working with large enterprise customers and leading strategic pre-sales opportunities.
- Strong strategic thinking, organizational, communication, executive communication, judgment, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions, translate strategic goals into execution, manage sensitive employee matters, and maintain a highly collaborative and inclusive leadership approach.
