Senior Software Engineer - Java Developer - Spark

- Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs within the technology domain.
- Lead moderately complex initiatives, projects, and deliverables and act as an escalation point.
- Develop and maintain solutions using Java and Apache Spark.
- Create and maintain Iceberg tables.
- Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges and evaluate technologies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to standards, best practices, and overall architecture.
- Provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, managers, and US partners to achieve goals.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Strong design and development experience using Java and Apache Spark.
- Strong experience creating and maintaining Iceberg tables.
- Experience with requirements gathering and analysis.
- Ability to work independently, multitask effectively, and collaborate with others.
- Familiarity with Agile processes and strong communication skills.
- Desired skills include SQL, UNIX, and Autosys.
