Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure LLM assistants, agentic coding tools, retrieval-augmented workflows, and internal AI platforms for Portfolio Management and Analytics teams.
- Deliver hands-on training, office hours, demonstrations, and documentation covering prompting, workflow integration, responsible use, and tool limitations.
- Embed with investment and research teams to identify use cases, build proofs of concept, and demonstrate business impact.
- Collect and translate user feedback, pain points, and feature requests into requirements and roadmap recommendations for the PM AI platform.
- Identify cross-team AI opportunities, quantify potential impact, and champion compliance with data security, model governance, and firm policies.
- Provide first-line European-hours support for Lane Assist and POET, including issue triage, diagnosis, resolution, escalation, and coordination with US-based teams.
- Maintain support runbooks, documentation, and known-issue logs, and build familiarity with POET data pipelines, optimization workflows, and APIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or related roles, including 2+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs, AI tooling, or ML systems.
- Strong Python skills and the ability to read, debug, and prototype production-quality code.
- Demonstrated experience deploying technology directly with end users in a forward-deployed, solutions engineering, customer engineering, or field engineering capacity.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to teach technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience gathering and synthesizing requirements across stakeholder groups and influencing product or platform roadmaps.
- Familiarity with LLM ecosystems, including prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, agents, MCP, fine-tuning, evaluation, and major AI platforms or APIs.
- Strong ownership, independent operating ability, user empathy, and comfort balancing strategic enablement with hands-on operational support.
- Experience in financial services, asset management, or portfolio analytics is preferred.
- Experience with production support or SRE-style operations, SQL/Snowflake, data pipelines, or web applications is preferred.
