Responsibilities
- Build and operate backend services in Python on AWS.
- Tackle backend problems related to latency, reliability, and scale.
- Own systems end-to-end from architecture to incident response.
- Make key architectural decisions and influence product direction.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to shape future developments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects in a senior capacity.
- Deep expertise in Python and building backend systems on AWS.
- Strong system design skills and ability to make architectural trade-offs.
- Depth in areas like data pipelines, event-driven architectures, or serverless systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
