Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, test, and deliver secure, scalable production software solutions.
- Review and debug code written by other engineers while driving high-quality engineering practices.
- Lead adoption and validation standards for enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, and troubleshooting tools.
- Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve application and system stability.
- Lead technical evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams regarding architecture and integration applicability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Experience leading approved AI-assisted software development practices and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of secure, resilient engineering practices.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry technology and practical cloud-native experience.
