Responsibilities
- Build production software with Supernal's proprietary platform, including backend services and CRUD applications.
- Maintain integrations with external systems that AI Employees can act on.
- Design and deploy conversational agents with multi-turn flows and state management.
- Own end-to-end technical delivery for high-priority customer implementations.
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical designs and execution plans.
- Make architectural decisions across application design and API integrations.
- Handle real-world voice system challenges including latency and error handling.
- Write automated tests for system validation and error handling.
- Debug complex production issues across agent logic and integrations.
- Partner with leadership to manage timelines and technical tradeoffs.
- Review technical work for quality and maintainability.
- Define and evolve best practices for building reliable AI Employees.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer or systems builder.
- Understanding of multi-turn conversation design and state management.
- Experience with real-time constraints in production systems.
- Hands-on experience deploying voice agents using leading platforms.
- Proficient in writing automated tests as part of the development process.
- Solid engineering fundamentals including error handling and clean interfaces.
- Comfortable owning delivery outcomes and client success.
- Deep experience with agentic architectures and APIs.
- Understanding of LLM orchestration and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Ability to prototype quickly and deliver production-quality work.
- Strong debugging skills for edge cases and API failures.
- Fluent communication skills in English for technical discussions.
- Ability to work in Americas time zones with reliable internet.
