Responsibilities
- Implement technical solutions aligned with architectural decisions and team standards.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using modern development practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, supply chain, logistics, and operations stakeholders to deliver features and resolve technical challenges.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, technical discussions, solution design, and continuous improvement.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
- Prototype and experiment to answer open questions, measure results, and share learnings.
- Use AI tools responsibly for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and review while maintaining quality standards.
- Introduce useful tools and techniques and help teammates adopt proven approaches.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with React and modern development frameworks.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL or MongoDB, Node.js, front-end development using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, and modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Tokens.
- Strong knowledge of DOM manipulation, component development, and Jest, Vite, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Experience developing cloud-native solutions, preferably with AWS.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and software development methodologies.
- Ability to solve problems, investigate root causes, communicate effectively, and work in cross-functional fusion teams.
- Experience using AI tools as an engineering assistant with sound judgment regarding quality and review standards.
- Preferred qualifications include large-scale application transformation, AWS certifications, Kafka or other event-streaming platforms, microservices and API development, Datadog, CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, performance optimization, security best practices, relevant industry experience, mentoring, technical leadership, and production experience with LLMs or AI agents.
