Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and execution for new systems, existing-system enhancements, and enterprise engineering capabilities.
- Provide technical and thought leadership in applied AI architecture, technology selection, and integration patterns.
- Design and deliver full-stack software, APIs, backend services, AI-augmented workflows, and intelligent services.
- Identify and evaluate high-value opportunities for AI, intelligent automation, and agentic workflows.
- Design durable, observable AI workflows using orchestration, agent patterns, tools, APIs, business rules, and human-in-the-loop steps.
- Select and rationalize models, retrieval systems, vector stores, knowledge graphs, workflow engines, and related technologies based on cost, latency, accuracy, security, and operability.
- Establish production evaluation, monitoring, testing, quality, safety, fallback, governance, and incident-response patterns.
- Mentor engineers and product community members and influence engineering leaders and executives.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of full-stack development experience with Java, C#, Python, Go, or comparable technologies.
- At least 4 years of architecture and design experience.
- At least 2 years of applied AI, generative AI, or intelligent automation experience in production, or demonstrable ownership of AI-enabled platform capabilities.
- At least 2 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
- Extensive experience shipping LLM, generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions in production environments.
- Strong understanding of agents, retrieval-augmented generation, classical machine learning, rules-based workflows, hybrid approaches, vector retrieval, workflow orchestration, and knowledge/context design.
- Proven expertise developing microservices and event-driven architectures using GraphQL, gRPC, Java, Python, and Kafka, including AI inference and asynchronous agent workflows.
- Experience delivering highly resilient, low-latency messaging and event-driven solutions with failure-tolerant, long-running workflows.
- Fluency in at least two modern object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, C++, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases, Cosmos, Cassandra, and Apache Trino or comparable technologies.
- Knowledge of developer tooling across task management, source control, building, deployment, operations, and communication.
- Fluency in test engineering and automated testing, including evaluation and regression testing for nondeterministic AI components.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
