Responsibilities

  • Partner with Solutions Engineers as a technical expert and escalation point for complex sales opportunities
  • Scope technical requirements, write responses, and present technical solutions
  • Engage prospective and current customers to understand technical challenges, business goals, and integration needs
  • Design, document, and present solutions involving integrations, security, data exchange, and implementation
  • Assess and mitigate risks that could affect technical wins or successful solution delivery
  • Transfer technical knowledge between sales opportunity teams and implementation teams
  • Create reusable technical enablement materials and respond to internal requests for technical information
  • Collaborate with Implementation, Sales, Product Management, and subject matter expert teams to close information gaps

Requirements

  • Experience in education technology, particularly LMS administration or integration, with deep Brightspace knowledge required
  • Experience in technical sales, consulting, or a similar client-facing role
  • Familiarity with enterprise software sales processes and prior sales support experience is an asset
  • Understanding of LMS ecosystems and integration needs, including systems of record, authentication, third-party tools, data transfers, databases, BI tools, and enterprise data warehouses
  • Ability to interpret and respond to technical requirements, gather client requirements, and write statements of work is an asset
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, services, product, implementation, and other internal teams
  • Ability to work remotely with a distributed team and travel occasionally
  • Background in higher education, K-12, or corporate learning is an asset
