Responsibilities

  • Lead integration and deployment projects for Sibros’s in-vehicle software with global customers and partners.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key customer accounts and provide expert guidance.
  • Gather requirements, create technical proposals and reference designs, and provide customer training.
  • Design and develop customized integration applications in C and C++ for customer requirements and vehicle architectures.
  • Triage customer-reported issues, merge fixes into the firmware repository, and validate solutions through hardware testing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on risks, schedules, and product feedback.
  • Provide technical mentorship and advocate for development best practices.
  • Travel to customer sites in the U.S. or applicable geography when required.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 3–6 years of experience developing embedded software with direct customer interaction.
  • Expert-level Embedded C programming on resource-constrained systems.
  • Significant experience developing for Linux/POSIX and/or Android systems.
  • Proficiency with Git, unit testing, static analysis, code review, CI, and MISRA C/C++ standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience mentoring team members.
  • Preferred: proficiency in C++ and Python.
  • Preferred: familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, UDS, SOME/IP, and DoIP.
  • Preferred: experience with MQTT, HTTPS, security, OTA software updates, and telemetry.
  • Preferred: experience with Bazel, PC-Lint, JIRA, Confluence, and Google Test.
