Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain object-oriented applications using Java and JavaScript.
- Access and work with Data Lake data and develop integrations with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and other relational databases.
- Create, analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, and database objects.
- Contribute to Spring Boot microservices and CI/CD processes using Git, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and related tools.
- Investigate production and integration issues and propose sustainable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, data specialists, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain technical and functional documentation in Jira and Confluence.
- Contribute ideas to improve system reliability, delivery efficiency, and solution quality.
Requirements
- Approximately 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong object-oriented programming knowledge and practical experience with Java and JavaScript.
- Practical SQL experience, including creating, analyzing, and optimizing queries.
- Experience with more than one relational database technology, including Oracle and PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, or comparable environments.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD practices, including Git and automated delivery pipelines.
- Working knowledge of GitHub Actions and Kubernetes or comparable tools and platforms.
- Ability to work autonomously on defined technical problems and explain technical decisions.
- Professional English proficiency for a European or multicultural project environment.
- Preferred experience includes Angular, TypeScript, Spring Boot, AWS S3, Elasticsearch, OpenShift, Kafka, cloud-native operations, Data Lake architectures, and Transactional Regulatory Reporting or banking.
