Base Salary
$191k - $267k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners to execute product and business strategy and build new features for moderators.
- Contribute to technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and product launches.
- Review code, design documents, product specifications, and mocks and provide constructive feedback.
- Lead a team of engineers and define standards and best practices that improve developer workflows.
- Coach and mentor engineers to support their professional development.
- Drive technical and product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for Safety and Moderation initiatives.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Go, Python, Rust, or Ruby.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, or gRPC basics and designing and implementing maintainable APIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.
- Ability to work independently, innovate, act decisively, and thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
- Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment and communicating complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
