Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and technical design of complex data solutions.
- Act as the technical authority on streaming and data pipeline design.
- Drive engineering best practices across the team.
- Lead design reviews and provide technical direction to engineers.
- Mentor and coach engineers to raise the technical bar.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance for critical data services.
- Champion security and data protection practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to shape the Business Change cycle.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development and workflows.
- Represent Engineering in cross-team technical forums.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development with technical ownership.
- Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Advanced experience with Kafka and Apache Flink.
- Strong working expertise in AWS services.
- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI tools.
- Experience building and maintaining MCP servers and AI automation pipelines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and SQL.
