Base Salary
$61k - $104k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable full stack applications using Java and Python.
- Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and messaging-based systems for high-volume, low-latency applications.
- Develop responsive, reusable frontend components and integrate them with backend services.
- Participate in architecture, technical design discussions, code reviews, and collaboration with product, business, architecture, and QA teams.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability while implementing security, data protection, and compliance practices.
- Create technical documentation for code, APIs, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions with support teams.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Strong professional experience with Python.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Proficiency with Angular or React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL relational databases.
- Understanding of Hibernate or JPA and familiarity with Maven or Gradle.
- Experience with Git and knowledge of software design principles, data structures, and multithreading or concurrency.
- Preferred experience in financial services, investment banking, or capital markets.
- Preferred exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker or Kubernetes; Redis or Elastic; Jenkins or GitHub Actions; and automated testing with JUnit, Mockito, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Understanding of secure coding and regulatory or compliance requirements in banking environments.
