Base Salary
$61k - $104k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java and Python.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices for high-volume, low-latency systems.
- Develop reusable user-interface components and integrate them with backend services.
- Participate in architecture, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement security, data protection, and compliance practices for financial systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate timely resolution with support teams.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with relational databases including DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Python and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA.
- Familiarity with Maven or Gradle and version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of software design principles, data structures, and multithreading or concurrency.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
- Preferred experience in financial services, investment banking, or capital markets.
- Preferred exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Elastic, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, JUnit, Mockito, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Understanding of secure coding and regulatory or compliance requirements in banking environments.
