Base Salary

$61k - $104k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java and Python.
  • Build RESTful APIs and microservices for high-volume, low-latency systems.
  • Develop reusable user-interface components and integrate them with backend services.
  • Participate in architecture, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Implement security, data protection, and compliance practices for financial systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate timely resolution with support teams.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation practices.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with relational databases including DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Python and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA.
  • Familiarity with Maven or Gradle and version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of software design principles, data structures, and multithreading or concurrency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
  • Preferred experience in financial services, investment banking, or capital markets.
  • Preferred exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Elastic, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, JUnit, Mockito, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Understanding of secure coding and regulatory or compliance requirements in banking environments.
