Responsibilities
- Develop and support highly scalable, high-performance components within an Agile development team.
- Design and implement reusable code structures and secure server-side services.
- Automate development pipeline processes, identify efficiency improvements, and enable continuous delivery.
- Maintain high code quality through automated unit and functional testing.
- Build rapid prototypes and innovative AI solutions for market and counterparty credit risk management.
- Research new technologies and communicate complex technical details clearly to stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with Java, J2EE, REST or microservices, Linux, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spark, Scala, RESTful web services, Apache data utilities, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark, as well as cloud and container environments.
- Knowledge of messaging and streaming technologies such as MQ and Kafka.
- Hands-on experience writing clean, readable, reusable Java code with unit tests.
- Experience using Git and Maven while collaborating with software development teams.
- Ability to multitask effectively and provide timely updates.
- Preferred experience with Angular or React, Python, NodeJS, .NET Core, generative AI solutions using Copilot, and DevOps or continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
