Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of complex systems and influence technical direction and strategy.
- Own delivery of large-scale features and projects across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior and senior engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders to shape requirements and make architectural decisions.
- Build high-quality, resilient, and scalable distributed systems.
- Lead troubleshooting and incident management for critical production issues.
- Improve development practices, infrastructure as code, test automation, code quality, and deployment practices.
- Coordinate cross-team technical initiatives and integration across services and platforms.
- Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot extensively in daily development workflows.
- Participate in on-call duties according to team and area responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency in C#/.NET and experience designing and implementing large-scale complex systems.
- Deep understanding of architectural principles and distributed-system patterns, including event-driven architecture using Kafka.
- Experience applying resilience mechanisms and performance-tuning practices.
- Proficiency managing cloud infrastructure and services such as AWS and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, and Terraform.
- Strong leadership and cross-team collaboration skills with the ability to influence technical efforts across multiple teams.
