Responsibilities
- Lead highly complex customer engagements and deliver secure, resilient, AI-enabled Azure solutions.
- Advise C-suite leaders and technical decision-makers on technology strategy, Microsoft capabilities, and business transformation.
- Deliver proactive and reactive support, including education workshops, assessments, tailored guidance, onsite services, and critical-incident troubleshooting.
- Identify and manage Azure goals and opportunities to improve customer solution health, performance, availability, adoption, and consumption.
- Coordinate with support, account, product engineering, partner, and other stakeholder teams to improve the customer experience.
- Lead technical communities, mentor talent, develop intellectual property, improve delivery processes, and represent Microsoft's technology vision.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents affecting Support for Mission Critical customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or master's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of customer-facing experience and 6+ years of experience leading technical projects.
- Cloud technical certification, such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, or security certification.
- Subject-matter expertise in at least two Azure IaaS areas, including Azure PaaS, AVD, networking, compute, or high availability and disaster recovery.
- Experience with systems management, network operations, software support, IT consulting, or related roles.
- Ability to manage critical customer issues, build strategic customer relationships, lead projects, communicate effectively, and work across technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements and pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
Benefits
- Typical base pay range is CAD $128,000–$222,400 per year.
- The position is open for a minimum of five days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the role is filled.
- The role may require onsite customer presence and participation in on-call rotations.
