Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features for Jitterbit’s iPaaS and APIM platform.
- Own projects from design through deployment while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Build and maintain large-scale distributed and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Apply cloud-based architectures and deployment technologies in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Debug complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and produce maintainable code.
- Mentor and support other engineers while collaborating with engineering, product management, and operations teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience with microservices and cloud-based architectures or design patterns.
- Strong experience with Java.
- Substantial experience with SQL Server and MySQL or other top-tier relational databases.
- Excellent JavaScript, CSS, and HTML authoring skills.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Familiarity with application deployment via Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
